It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Francis Kiongo Murugara (Bwana Ndigoo) on 5th March 2018, after a long illness bravely borne.
Son of Mr. Benjamin Murugara Gakuru and Mrs. Lenah Gaciri Murugara. Husband of Ms. Irene Kamene. Father of Victor Safari (Gankanga Secondary School) and Joseph Mainda (Matiliku Township Academy).
Brother of Hon. George Gitonga Murugara (Member of Parliament- Tharaka), Tabitha Murugara, Regina Kathiomi, Johnson Murimi, Martha Kanini, Richard Muthee, Mary Muthoni, Evans Njagi, Dickson Mutiiria, Dr. Lucy Kawira and Clement Mugane.
Friends, relatives and wellwishers are meeting at the All Saints Cathedral Kindergarten School (opposite the Nairobi Serena Hotel) this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30pm. Daily meetings also are ongoing at the Little City Hotel in Mukothima,Tharaka Nithi County and at the Complex Business Centre at Ciampiu Market, Gakombe Sub-Location, Thagicu Sub- County, Kitui County.
There will be a fundraiser this Thursday, 15th March 2018, at the All Saints Cathedral at 5:30pm to meet the funeral expenses.
The cortege will leave the Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 17th March 2018, at 7:00am for the funeral service and burial at the deceased’s home at Gakombe Village, Gakombe Sub-Location, Tharaka Location, Thagicu Sub- County, Kitui County.
