It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the resting of Vincent J.O. Othim (Dollar) formerly of Clarkson Notcutt Insurance Brokers, Nairobi and lately Vifrogem Insurance Agency on 10th March 2018 in Nairobi.
Beloved son of the Late Alois Othim and Late Serfina Achola of Gem Kanyiwuor (Manyatta Gonda). Son-in-law of the Late Albert Ochaka and Late Joyce Ochaka of Uyoma Kabudha, Ragen’gni. Loving husband of Monicah A. Othim, devoted father of Flavia, Robina and Gemma Othim. Doting grandfather of Ariana. Brother of Paulina Auma and Mary Owiti. Uncle of Deborah, Kabaka, Anna, Taabu, Pius, Lilly, Erick, Caroline, the Late Jacqueline and Philip among others. Cousin of Florence Atieno.
The body is at Montezuma Funeral Home in Nairobi. A requiem mass will be held on 22nd March 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Adams Arcade, Nairobi from 2:30pm.
Burial will take place at his home in Manyatta Gonda, Kisumu on 24th March 2018.
Funeral meetings are taking place at his Nairobi residence, Ngumo Estate. His friends from Contexture group will meet this Sunday, 18th March 2018 at New Kuche Kuche, Madaraka from 2pm.
Fundraising to defray funeral expenses will be held on 20th March 2018 at All Saints Cathedral Church from 5:30pm
