It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Erastus Kamau Rukungu on 17th March 2018.
Son of the late Manasseh Rukungu and Eunice Wanjiru. Husband of the late Florence Wangare and Teresia Gathiru. Father of James Muhia and Jane Wangare, Eunice Wanjiru and Eng. Peter Kanyugi, Ann Wangui and the late Mbuthia Kahugi, Ruth Wambui and John Mungai, Jane Wanjiku and Dr. J. Ndungu, Manasseh Rukungu and Nelly Muthoni, the late Lucy Muthoni, Faith Wambui and Edward Chege, Sam Mwangi and Rose Muthoni and Eunice Wanjiru. Brother of the late Wambui, Njuguna, Waweru, Gathitu, Chege, Kimemia, and Javan Mwichigi. Adored grandpa and great grandpa of many.
Prayers and funeral arrangements are taking place daily at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 6.00p.m - 8.00p.m, rural homes at Karinga (Kigumo Sub County) and Riandu (Embu). The cortege leaves Githumu M. Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 22/03/2018 at 9.00am. Funeral service and burial will be at his home Karinga village from 10.30am.
