Son of the late Ayub Macharia and the late Susan Watiri. Husband of the late Virginia Njeri and Mary Wairimu.

Father of the late Ann Watiri, the late Fredrick Gitau, Bernard Macharia, Florence Wambui, Dr. Philomena Wairimu and Dominic Kamau.
Son-in-law of the late Gitau Kamanda and the late Tabitha Wambui and the late Linus Mbuthia and Grace Nduta.
Father-in-law of Margaret Gitau, Jackline Wangui, the late David Wokabi, Margaret Wanjira and Judy Njeri.

Friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements daily at Nyahururu Country Lodge from 5pm, at his Shamenei home from 3pm and those in Nairobi on Thursday the 29th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, State House Road at 5pm.
Burial will be on 2nd April 2018. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 2nd April 2018 at 7.00am for a requiem mass at 11.00am followed by burial at his home in Shamanei, Laikipia County.
