It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Amon Muthamia Igweta.
Son of the late Musa M’Mbui and the late Zipporah Musa. Loving husband of Phyllis Muthamia. Father of Eva Nkatha, Patrick Mwirigi, Eric Mugambi and Roy Mutuma. Grandfather of Cynthia Kendi. Son-in-law of Joel M’Mutungi and the late Alice M’Mutungi. Brother of Japhet and Juliah Mbogori, Joseph and Janet Gitonga, Gideon and Charity Murithi, Stephen and Susan Riunga, Fredrick and the late Rose Karani, the late Michael and Joyce Ndumba, John and Agnes Mwiti, Erastus and Makena Mwenda. Cousin and uncle of many.
There will be burial arrangement meetings at Norwich Union on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th April, 2018 starting at 5:30PM. There will be a memorial service at Charles New Methodist Church, Nairobi on Thursday 12th April, 2018 as from 12 noon.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home at 5:30AM on Friday 13th April, 2018 for Funeral service at 10:00AM at Kaaga Methodist Church, North Imenti Constituency, Meru County and thereafter for burial at his home in Kaaga - Kanthiga Village.
