It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Rebecca Wanjiku Macharia which occurred on 29th October 2017. Loving wife of the Late John Macharia Njuguna. Loving Mother of Peter Njuguna, Lucy Wairimu, Consolata Waithera, Joseph Macharia, Alice Wanjiru, Paul Githu, Bennedict Wangui and Jane Nyambura. Sister to Ephantus Kweri, Njathi, Wainaina, Gathuuri, Kiragu and Jane Nyambura. She was the grandmother to 20 grandchildren and great grandmother to 2 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are meeting at 5.30 pm Eureka Highrise Hotel, 5th Floor along Tom Mboya Street in Nairobi and at Kamukabi Village Kinyona Location in Murang’a County for funeral arrangements and prayers.
She will be laid to rest on 8th November 2017 at her home in Kamukabi Village, Kinyona Location, Kigumo Constituency, Murang’a County. The Cortege will meet at KU Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00A.M at her home.
