It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Edward Elatsia Madegwa formally of Tetra Park.
Beloved husband of Florence T. Madegwa. Father of Rebecca Kedogo (German) Ezekiel Kiguhi (Bank of Africa Sameer Branch) and Timothy odanga (former student JKUAT Karen). Son of the late Mzee Fred Madegwa and late Respah Mmboga Madegwa. Brother of Robert Madegwa, Margaret Shivembe (Starehe Boys), the late Fanice Kisaka,Gladys Lumasia, the late Donald Kanyangi, the late Evans Kisii, Rosemary Imbira (NTHCS) Peter Malaki, Violet Musimbi, Beatrice Wanjala and Henry Madegwa (Trufoods). Brother-in-law of the late Phillip Shivembe, the late Kisaka, Ayub Imbira (Starehe Boys), the late Lumasia, Andrew Wanjala (Sameer Africa) Terry, Beatrice, Celestine, Judith, Tom Juma Joyce Ibaida. Son-in-law of Janet Tenywa and late Ezekiel Tenywa of Uganda. Uncle of many.
There are meetings at his residence in Mlolongo Valley view estate. Meetings in town start on Wednesday 14 March 2018 at Mwalimu National Sacco House 2nd floor room 209. There will be a fundraising to offset funeral costs on Thursday15th March 2018 from 5pm at Professional centre and on Saturday 17th March at his residence at 3PM.
The body leaves Umash Mortuary on Thursday 22nd for prayers at his residence at 8.30am and therafter for a memorial service at International Friends Church, Ngong road at 10.00am and then transported to his home in Kigama. He will be laid to rest on Saturday24th March 2018.
