It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing away of Monica Aluoch Omondi, of KNH, Doctors Plaza, on 15th September 2017.
She was daughter of the Late Gerphas Obonyo and late Mama Rosa Juma and late Geraldine Amakobe of Kateg Jera. Daughter in law to the Late Manasseh Omondi and Late Mama Philista Omondi and Mama Clarice of Ginga Village
Dear wife to Jackton Omondi of Uholo Got Osimbo Ginga Village and beloved mother to the late David Otieno, Elizabeth Anyango Ronoh, Evans Oduor, Victor Odhiambo and Antony Ochieng.
Mother in law to Edgar Ronoh.
Sister to the late James, Charles, Jennifer, Edwin, Judith, late Lilian, Godfrey, Nancy, David, Josephine and Dan.
Sister in law to Sawayi, Late Akinyi,, Awino, Late Aoko, Otieno, the Late Mariko, Mary, Lillian, Elizabeth, Late Awuor, Late Auma, Evans, Christine, Otieno Wariaro, Odhiambo Aol, Late Tom and Lawrence Ochieng’. Aunty to Mike, Moses, Risper, Aggrey, Abba among many others.

Relatives, family and friends are meeting daily for prayer and funeral arrangements at her house in Donholm - Savannah Estate and Tumaini House behind KENCOM every day from 5:00-8:00pm. There will be a Mini-fundraiser to offset the funeral expenses on Sunday 24th September 2017 at Savannah beginning at 2:00pm. The Main fundraiser will be on Tuesday 26th September 2017 at All Saints Cathedral beginning at 5:30pm.
A memorial service will be held at St. Stephens Cathedral, Jogoo Road, Nairobi on Thursday 28th September 2017 at 2:00pm. Burial will take place on 30th September 2017 at her home in Ginga Village, Got-Osimbo, East Uholo, Siaya County.
