It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Peter Kang’ethe Gitau (Soldier) which occurred on 10/03/2018.
Husband to Hellen Mumbi. Father of Boniface Gitau, Alice Njeri and Beatrice Wanjiru. Son of the late Patrick Karuitha Gitau of Kimende and Alice Njeri (Riithi).
Brother of Muthiora, Muhoya (Mason), Kahihu, Thindiu, Mwaura, Kiragu, the late Kinyajui and the late Njuguna.
Son-in-Law of the late Steven Chege Muchiri, and Beatrice Mukina Chege of Gatanga, Murang’a County. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth, Alice, Maxwell and Patricia.
Father-in-law of Njihia Ndirangu. Loving Grandfather of Hellen Mumbi, Peter Kang’ethe, Luise Ndirangu (Rayan) and Beatrice Wanjiru.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers and burial arrangements at his residence, 56 Kawangware, Kabiro, from 5pm daily.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 7:30 am for church service mass at St. John the Baptist, Riruta Catholic. Thereafter, burial will take place at his farm in Kimende, Lari Division, Kiambu County at 2:00 pm.
