It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lillian Wanjiku Gaitho.
Beloved daughter of Esther Ngatia. Loving wife of Chris Oketch of Matheka and Oketch Advocates. Mother of Shali Neema, Baby Samara Atieno and Baby Zaria Marienga. Sister of Tony James Ngatia, Fidelis Gaitho, Dennis Karanja (Panalpina Airflo), Raymond Lee Murimi. Daughter-in-law of Lady Justice Maureen Onyango. Cousin of Victoria Wangari, Bancy Wanjiku and Geoffrey Mutugi among others. Sister-in-law of Nicholas Okech, Tony Okech and Janet Oketch.
Friends and relatives are meeting on Monday and Tuesday at St. Pauls Cathedral, UoN between 5:00pm and 8:00pm for prayers and burial preparations. There will be a fundraiser on Tuesday 6th March 2018 to help offset the accrued medical bills. The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday 7th March 2018 for the memorial service to be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church from 2.00pm. Burial will take place at Rimpa (Rongai) on Thursday March 8th 2018. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Damary Khasandi, Lillian’s friends, colleagues and family for their support during these trying times.
