It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the Passing on of John Marangu M’itonga Rtd principal of Miathene Boys, Nyangwa Boys, Meru School, Kwale High, Olkejuado High and Isiolo Boys.
Son of the late Henry M’itonga, the late Margret Karinga and Rachel M’itonga. Loving husband of the late Virginia Marangu. Father of Henry Gitonga (former KAF), Pamela Gacheri (Principal Mutuguni day), Ann Gatwiri (K.R.A Mombasa), Kennedy Kinoti (Ministry of Interior), Denis Mbaabu (CEO Kulamawe Poultry Industries Ltd). Brother of Kirimi Nkando, the late James Kiambi,Tirus Mbaya,Charles Kibiti, Washigton Majau, Julia Nduru, Phides Mucece. Brother inlaw of late Stephen Kiambi, Lydia Nkuene, Betty Muthoni, Agnes Manyara,and Emily Ogenche (Principal Kajiado Township). Father-in-law of Bernard Munyi and Laurel Kirigo Grandfather of Evans Mwongera, John Munene, Ivy Wawira, Tabitha Mwendwa, Baraka Murimi and Shanice Nady. Uncle of Margaret Makena, Martin Mwenda among others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 5.30 pm at his Kulamawe lsiolo home. The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Thursday 15th March 2018 for service and burial at his rural farm in Murungurune village Upper Kithangari next to P.C.E.A church Kariene.
