It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Eng. Robert Mwangi Wachira at Nairobi West Hospital on Friday 16th March 2018. He was formerly of Ministry of Water and National Water Conservation and Pipeline Co-operation.
Loving husband of Consolata Wangari. Adored father of George Mwangi and Winnie Wanjiku. Son of the late Wachira Gate and Alifonza Nyamachohi. Brother of the late Jacinta Wangui, the late Robert Ndung’u, Gilbert Wachira of Embu, Marisella Nyawira of G4S, Jervasio Ndirangu and James Wachira of KRA. Son in law of the late George Gatero and Hannah Wanjiku of Gikurwe village Othaya. Brother in law of the late Karige, Mbiro, Raphael, Alice, Kui, Wachira among others. Uncle of Anthony, Patricia, Alifonza, Maureen, Benta, Kasiva, Kaveva, Morris and Joseph. Grandfather of Gillian, Meegan and Claire.
Friends and relatives are meeting at Antonnio’s Grill Kaunda Street Nairobi from Tuesday 20th March at 6pm, his residence in Mwiki and at his parents’ home Kigwandi village, Nyeri County for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday 24th March at 7.00 am for funeral service and burial on the same day starting at 11.00am at Kigwandi village, Chorongi Sub-location, Mukaro location, Nyeri County.
