It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Veronica Olayo Nyongesa on 16th March 2018 after a long illness bravely borne.
Daughter of the late Hillary Maketso Sakwa and the late Angela Apallata Maketso. Wife of Pius Nyongesa Macheso. Mother of the late Margaret Kituyi, Austin Macheso (Export Promotion Council) and Chrysantus Macheso (GAVI, Geneva). Mother-in-law of Dr. Protus Kituyi (Moi Referral Hospital), Judy Mumbua Situma and Jeniffer Wanjira Macheso. Grandmother of Angela Kituyi (Moi University) Evelyne Mutheu Situma (IHTI), Jeremy & Jerome Situma (Moi Education Centre), Shana and Keila Macheso.
Sister of the late Nicolas Maketso, the late Sabina Tindi, the late Perpetua Otanga, the late Elizabeth Ogama, the late Peter Opiyo, Anthony Okello, Mary Kuchio, Teresina Maketso, Leonida Wekesa and Joseph Maketso.
Sister-in-law of the late Felix Wabwile, Maurice Macheso, Peter Macheso, David Macheso, Victor, Fabian. Auntie of Moses Wekesa (KENGEN), Pastor Patrick Kuchio (CITAM), Madelline Ogama (Mater Hospital) among others.
There will be a fund-raiser at CITAM Valley Road to offset funeral expenses on Tuesday 27th March 2018 starting 5.00pm.
Burial will be at her home, Lurende Village, Bungoma County on Saturday 31st March 2018.
