It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Mathew wambugu Murage, a business man – Othaya town, after a short illness on Wednesday morning 21/03/2018. He hails from Ruruguti village, Othaya, Nyeri.
Son of the late Murage Nguribu (Meja) & Milliam Wambui. Husband of Racheal Nyagaki, the late Nancy Njeri, Joyce Muringi, the late Assunta Njeri and Peris Wanjiru. Father of Wambui, Wanjiru, Wanja, Murage, Gichuki, Wahito, Macharia, Muthoni, Eunice and Nyawira.
Grandfather of Wambugu, Murage, Nyaga, Racheal, Mercy, Njeri, Wanjiku, Gitahi, Wangari, Jeff and Risper. Great grandfather of many. Brother of the late Wagura, Ndegwa, Kamore, the late Wanja, Nyawira, Wachira, Kariuki, Thuku, Ngugi, Kimani, Wangari, Wangui, Gitahi, Waichigo and the late Kingori.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Ruruguti, Othaya kwa Mathew Restaurant and Emaccra Hotel Nairobi.
The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral home Outspan on Wednesday 28/03/2018 at 9:00 a.m. for burial and funeral service at his farm in Kianjagi, Ruruguti village.
