It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Selfa Amimo Achungo which occurred on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2018.
Daughter of the late Shadrack Jumba Amugo and Anna Khamira. Beloved wife of the late James Arthur Achungo. Loving mother of Joyce Owenga, the late Donald Wena, Lydia Wesonga, Johnstone Okoko, Wycliff Ojango, Susan Yoshinori (Japan), Elda Achungo (Principal, Kericho TTC), Beatrice Shisukhane, the late Hellen Olesi, Shadrack Jumba and Meshack Atikinyi. Sister-in-law of the late Jeans, late Njeri, Elizabeth, the late Risper, Josiah Osena, Margaret Samba, George Oyando, Abigael among others. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.
The cortege leaves Kakamega Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 29th March 2018 for a church service at All Souls ACK Church, Kakamega. Burial will be on 31st March 2018 at her home in Rosterman, Kakamega County.
