Son of the late Patrick Wamae Kirocho and Late Anastasiah Wambura and step-son of Lydia Wanjeri. Son-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs Kimondo Njeru. Husband of Margaret Wangui. Father of the late Jecinta Wambura, Dr. Wamae Maranga (AHF-Africa), John Maina, James Mwangi (Businessman Nbi), Catherine Njeri (Businesslady Nbi), Charles Njeru (Businessman Nbi), and Caroline Wanjiru (Businesslady Nbi). Father-in-law of Mary Wamae (Equity Bank), Jane Maina, Mary Mwangi (Businesslady Nbi), Charles Gatimu (Businessman Nbi), Sally Njeru (Oshwal Academy), and George Muriuki (Unison Sacco). Grandfather of Elena & Eddie, Joy, Jackie, Lisa, Dave, Margaret, Philly, Jecinta, Chris, Linet, Michelle, Wangechi, Lyn, Owen, Mark, Morris, Dennis, Faith and Muriuki. Great grandfather of Jayden and Kabura.

Family and friends are meeting for funeral arrangements and prayers at Ngong Hills Hotel, Decasa Hotel, River Road and his home in Kiunjugi Village, Mathira daily from 6.00PM.
The cortege leaves Jamii Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at 9.00AM for a Requiem Mass and burial at the family home in Kiunjugi Village, Magutu Location, Nyeri North District (Mathira) starting from 11.00AM
