It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Zipporah Nyawira Mwangi after a long illness bravely borne. Daughter of Julia Muthoni and the late Simon Kibaki. Loving wife of Edward Mwangi Kamau (MK). Mother of Anne Wangui, George Kamau (USA), Peter Kibaki (USA), Juliet Muthoni, Joyce Wambui and Johnson Gacheru. Mother in-law of Samuel Wanjohi, Mary Wangari, Alice Muthoni, the late Elly Abong’o and Rose Muthoni. Sister of Eng. (Elder) Kibaki, Mary Wanjoro, the late Polly Wanjira, Elder Mwaniki, Waithaka, Muriuki, Mwangi, the late Nancy Njeri, Ndathi,Waweru, Wandia, Thairu and Wagithi. Sister-in-law of the late Elder Johnson Gacheru, Joyce Gacheru, Joseph Thiga, Lucy Thiga, Joyce Wambui, Gladys Wangeci, Patrick Maina, Elizabeth Wakaru, Jane Mwaniki, Jeniffer Waithaka, Margaret Muriuki, Elder Margaret Mwangi, Eunice Ndathi, Jane Waweru, Richard Gichuki, Mercy Thairu and Njagi. Grandmother of Dun, Craig, Imani, Tumaini, Amani, Rita, Mwangi, Ethan, Jayda, Tatyana, Lakita,Cindy, and Dawn. Aunty and grandmother of many.
Family and Friends are meeting daily at Membley Estate Milimani Court, Ngong Lane, Ibis (1) Hotel (Karatina), Kihuri village (Mukurwe-ini) and at her residence in Mukangu village, Ndia sub county, Kirinyaga County. There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 1st November 2017 at Membley from 5.00p.m.
The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary Karatina at 8:00am for a church service at PCEA Mukangu, Ndia,Kirinyaga County on Friday 3rd November 2017 and burial thereafter at her
Mukangu home.
