Father of Irene and John Alubbe, the late Esther Wambura Wathika, Samuel Kanyeki Wathika and Elizabeth Wambui, the late Isaac Thooko Wathika. Grandfather of Timothy Wathika, Gracia Alubbe and Mark Alubbe. Brother of the late James Githure and Elizabeth Wanyi, Beth Wakarima, Pastor Bernice Muita and the late Bishop Muita, Dr. Samson Gatukui and Annie Njoki, the late Margaret Wambura, Reuben Gachuhi and Eunice Gathigia, the late Moses Njukia and Jane Wangui, the late Grace Waigumo, Robert Gakuya and Christine Makena. Uncle of many. Son-in-law of the late Thooko Kibe and Wambura Thooko. Brother-in-law of Wanjiru, the late Kibe, Kihuria, Gachanja and Wacuka.
Funeral arrangements are being held at his Kariobangi South Flats home House No. FN14, at Norwich Union House in Nairobi starting from 6 p.m. and at his rural home in Kaharo Village, Mukurweini, Nyeri County.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 13th April 2018 for a funeral service and burial at Kaharo village Mukurweini Sub-county, Nyeri county.
