It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Grace Atieno Koyo on 29th March.
Wife of the late William Oginga Koyo of Upper Kakwajuok, North Karachuonyo. Loving mother of Luke, Nancy and Mandela. Daughter of the late Malachi Olende, Nancy and Sabina Nyindodo. Daughter-in-law of the late Ker Opien Koyo, Mama Elsa, Karen and Priskila Koyo. Sister-in-law of Anderson, Mathias, Samuel & Elijah Koyo among other uncles and aunties. Granddaughter of the late Lukio Olende, the late Priskila and Joan Olende. Grace was a pillar of strength to her siblings Nkrumah, Beatrice Awino, Esther Norwood, Emily Nyindodo, Jaramogi Nyindodo, Betty Mitema, Lilian Ogari, Emma Ambala, Owen Nyindodo, and Mandela. Niece of Shem & Rose Arungu, Cornelius & Pamela Olende, Crispus & the late Jessica Malit, Japh & Chimmy Olende among other uncles & aunties.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Pronto Restaurant on Standard street in the City centre and at her house in Utawala Embakasi. There will be a harambee for funeral expenses today, Tuesday 10th April 2018 at All Saint Cathedral from 5 pm. Contributions can be sent through Mpesa number 0724006456
Church service will be at the Holly Family Basilica on Wednesday 11th April 2018, at 2 pm. Burial will take place on Friday 13th April, 2018 at her home in Upper Kakwajuok, North Karachuonyo.
