It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God's Will that we announce the passing on of our beloved dad mzee Peter kinuthia Gathere of Dagoretti South, waithaka location Ruthimitu village which occurred on Sunday 5th November 2017 after a short illness. Beloved Husband to the late Teresiah Mbutu kinuthia. Son of the late Godfrey Gathere and late Teresiah Wanjiku.
Father to Godfrey Gathere, late Jane wanjiku, John waweru, Paul Kinuthia of interconsumer products Ltd, Francis mungai, David Ndungu, Patrick Ndonye and Elizabeth Njeri. Brother to Mary wamaitha Makumi of uthiru, Elizabeth Wanjira, Paul muchene Gathere of Seattle USA, Lucy Gathere formerly of UAP insurance, Augustin Wahinya of Kagondo village, Gitau Gathere of kiserian, Chutha Gathere of Sigmatts Diesel and Electrical services, Francis Kamuyu, David Kariuki and late Christopher Kamau. Uncle to Kevin Gathere, Triza Wanjiku amoung others. Grandfather to Triza Mbutu of CIC insurance, Mbutu Gathere of interconsumer products Ltd, Captain Ken Kinuthia of Boskovic Air Charters,
Beatrice Waweru of sportpesa amoung others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Dagoretti South, Ruthimitu village behind Dagoretti High school and at All Saints Cathedral as from 5pm.
