It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of ELDER PETER NJUGUNA MEREKA on 12.04.2018 at The Mater Hospital after a long illness.
Eld. Peter was the last born son of the late Mr. Nelson Mereka and the late Mrs. Priscilla Ngendo of Naaro Village, Muruka Location, Kandara Division, Muranga County.
Eld. Peter was a loving husband to Josephine Wangu Njuguna. Father to Michael Mereka, Everlyne Ngendo and Sylvia Wanjiru, grandfather to Jazzmyn Wangu and Jazzlyn Wanjiru.
He was brother to Edward Ndungu, late Salome Wanjiku, James Kamau (USA), Reuben Macharia, David M. Mereka (Mereka & Co. Advocates) and the late Joseph Kanyotu.
Son in law to the Mbaria family of Koimbi, Muranga County.
Brother in law to Loise Ndungu Mereka, Rev. Dr. Peris Kamau (USA)
Funeral arrangements/Prayer meetings will be held at St. Andrews Church beginning Tuesday 17thApril, 2018 at 5.30 p.m. daily and also at the family home, Naaro village.
THERE WILL BE A FUND RAISING TO CLEAR A HUGE MEDICAL BILL INCURRED AT ICU FOR FOR ONE AND A HALF MONTHS ON WEDNESDAY 18TH APRIL 2018 AT 5.30 P.M.AT ST ANDREWS CHURCH. - Pay Bill No. 891300 A/c No. 20720
