It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lilian Akinyi Afande of Kenya Revenue Authority Mombasa, which occurred on 3rd November 2017 at the Agha Khan Hospital, Mombasa.
Daughter of Albert and Beatrice Afande, step daughter of Margaret Afande, foster mother of Eliza, beloved mother of Marvin Dismas Asiba, granddaughter of late Mzee Daudi and the late Scolastica Afande and late Nicodemus and late Hendrica Opamba.
Niece to Lucia, Alfred, Former Amb. Denis Afande, Antony, Late Faustin Janet, Late Almelda, Late Helena, Valentine, Juliana, Domitilla, Wilfrida, Vincent, Christopher, George, Jessica, Roseline, Silvester, among others.

Requiem mass will be on Thursday 16th November 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Nyali at 3 pm. The body leaves Agha Khan Hospital Mortuary Mombasa on Friday 17th November 2017, for burial on Saturday 18th November 2017 at her parents’ home, Namikoye, Matayos, Busia County starting 10 am.
