It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the departure to glory of our beloved Nelly Wambui Mwangi of Dallas, Texas (USA).
Daughter of Lucy Waitherero (Wa Salome) of Thika. Mother of Christian Kiranga. Sister of Salome Mwangi of San Fransisco (USA) and James Mungai Turuthi of Nairobi. Aunt of Samia Wangui Mungai and Lianna Waitherero Mungai. Cousin of Patrick Maina, Sheila Muthoni, Tabitha Muthoni, Lincoln Kamau, Eddy Kimani, Willy Macharia, Eddy Kibe, Maina Karanja among others. Niece of Alice Njeri, James Karanja, Boniface Kimani, Charles Ngunya of Kabati, Jane Nnamdi of (U.N), Esther Wambui of St. Paul Sec Sch Gatuanyaga, the late Nelson Kibe and Peter Macharia.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Coconut Grill Hotel Kwanza Hall - Thika and at her parent’s residence in Kamenu Estate House No. 851 starting at 6.00p.m for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home K.U – Thika Road on Wednesday 30th May 2018 at 8.30a.m followed by funeral and burial service at her parent’s farm in Ciumbu Makuyu, Animal Farm past Murang’a Teachers College in Murang’a County starting at 12.00 noon the same day.
