It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Gideon Omollo Tips (Formely of Kenya Railways), which occurred on 10th June 2018 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.
Son of the late Zakayo Omollo Mbulwa and the late Mama Ludia Akumu. Husband of Risper Apiyo Omollo and the late Mama Philister Akoth Omollo. Father of Rose Atieno (Nairobi Water Co.), Millicent Adhiambo (Nairobi Water Co.), Everlyne Awuor (Businesslady) Jackline Aluoch (Kabuti Hospital), Robert Omollo (Equity Bank Homabay), Erick Okeyo (My Globe Travel LTD) Caroline Adoyo (Teacher), Mercy Awiti (Teacher) Humphrey Owuor (Teacher), and Emma Akinyi (Student Moi University). Brother of the late Leonard Ochiewo, George, Hellena Akello and Damaris. Father-in-law of Wycliffe Ochieng’, Thomas Odongo, Elisha Olando, Mike Onyango, Cyrus Randa, Damaris Apiyo, Maureen Ogutu, Florence Matiko. Uncle of Kenyatta (Principal), Jeremiah (Principal), Justus, Nelson, Cornel among others. Grandfather of Stacy, Kate, Vallary, Sheriz, Daryl, Curthbert, Neville, Angel, Hawi, Brandon, Wendy, Blessing, Amara, Kyan, Joel, Morgan, Brianna, Faith, Janice, Sasha and Warren.
The Cortege leaves Agha Khan Mortuary Kisumu on 29th June 2018 for a prayer service at VOSH Church, Kisumu and thereafter, burial on Saturday 30th June 2018 in Kabotho East Sub-location, Nyakach Sub County.
