It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise and promotion to glory of Ezekiah Wachira Waweru, alias Guka wa Kabatini, Nakuru, which occurred on Friday 26th October 2018 at War Memorial Hospital.
Husband of Milkah Njoki and son of the late Waweru Ngocho and the late Teresia Wanjiru. Father of James Waweru (Kabatini), Jecinta Wanjiru (Kabatini), Nancy Wangoi (Australia), Jane Wambui (Kapsabet), Patricia Wanjiru (USA), Lucy Wairimu (Kabatini), Virginia Wanjiku (Tabuga), Johnstone Muchiri (Kabatini), Willy Wachira (Mark 2 Electronics, Maralal), the late John Wandurwa, and Isaac Mwangi (Kabatini).
Father-in-law to Esther Wamaitha, Teresia Wambui, Sarah Makena, the late John Ngaruiya, Andrew Mutai, Joseph Melly, Albert Gichuru and the late Peter Maina. Brother of the late Willy Maingi, the late Kezia Njoki, among others. Grandfather and great grandfather to many.
Family and friends are meeting at Kabatini, Nakuru at his residence daily from 5.00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.
The cortege leaves War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Friday 2nd November 2018 at 8.00 am and thereafter the burial ceremony at his residence at Kabatini, Nakuru.
