It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Moses Olaka of Mundoli primary school on Friday 29th March, 2019 at Reale Hospital, Eldoret following a long battle with lymphatic cancer.
Husband of Janet Atswenje Olaka. Father of Tabitha Olaka, Praise Olaka and Testimony Olaka. Son of Mzee Hezron Malenya Olaka and Rev.Catherine Amakobe Olaka.Brother of Kutswa Olaka (County Commissioner, Mandera), Leah Abuli (Emukhunzulu Primary school), Sarah Makokha (Ministry of Health, Butere), Job Olaka (Ministry of Health, Busia), Elizabeth Sande (Ministry of Health, Khwisero), Winnie Olaka (Ministry of infrastructure, Kisii) and Edwin Olaka (formerly of National Police Service).
Son in law of Enock Atswenje Titiya and Salome Atieno Atswenje of Ematiya, Lurambi. Brother in law of Phoebe Kutswa (MM Shah school), James Abuli (formerly of Emukhunzulu primary school), the late Amos Makokha (formerly of Mumias Sugar Company), Evelyne Olaka (Ministry of Health, Bungoma) Sammy Sande (Ministry of Health, Vihiga), Margaret Olaka, Emannuel Ndeta, James Mbakaya, Baraza Andati, Alfred Khalumi, Eileen Chibosi, Juliet Ashioya, Mary Mumia, Kathleen Makaya and Esther Mwangi.
First Cousin to Hon.Amos Wako, Senator Busia and the Obandos (Maseno), Wakos (Busia), Oyungus (Kima), Otienos (Seme), Munalas (Ebushiekwe), Ojeras (GotRegea), Furis (Lurambi), Magomeres (Butsotso), Karakachas (Navakholo), Mutesas (Marama), Ashiras (Kisa) and the Omwakas (Marama).Uncle to many nephews and nieces.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home of Ebukhoba village next to Ebukhoba Church of God (near Khumusalaba market) from 5:00pm for prayers and burial arrangements.
The cortege will leave Coptic Hospital Mortuary,Maseno on Thursday 11th,April 2019 at 10 am for his home at Ebukhoba.
The funeral service will be held at Ekambuli Primary School on Saturday 13th, April 2019 starting at 9 am followed by the burial at his Ebukhoba home next to Ebukhoba Church of God, Khwisero subcounty, Kakamega county.
