He was the loving husband to Mrs. Lucy Wanjiku Maina formerly of Barclays Bank Kenya.
Son of the late James Maina and the late Zipporah Wairimu.
Son-in-law to Josphat Njenga Gichuki and Loice Njeri.
Dedicated and beloved dad to Maina Gichure of Minor Autohealth Garage,Zipporah Gichure of Barclays Bank Kenya, Loice Njeri of Isuzu East Africa, Dr. Mary Gichure of Chuka University and Dr. Josphat Njenga of Curtin University.
Loving Father-in-law of Ruth Waithira of Joda Pharmacy, Moses Gichuki Waweru, David Muriu, Simon Mwangi of Sidian Bank and Sarah Kangai in Australia.
Grand Father to Phares Gichure, Lisa Wambui, Joshua Muriu, Jeffrey Gichure, Leonel Mwangi, Megan Mumbi and Amy Wanjiku.
Brother to Mary, the late Serah, Nduati, Ayub Githìiyu, Leah, David, the late John and Ruth Wangui.
Brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and friend to many.
The Cortege leaves Uplands Funeral home on Wednesday, 10 July 2019 at 8AM and thereafter a funeral service and burial will occur at his home in Makutano Ndeiya Limuru, starting from 11 am.
Friends and family are meeting daily from 4PM to 6PM at his home, for burial arrangements.
