In humble acceptance of God’s sovereign will; we announce the sudden passing to Glory of Charles Okoth Were on the morning of Wednesday, 1st April 2020. 

Loving husband of Emily Osino-Okoth and dotting daddy of Neema Elsie. Loving son of the late Absalom Were Miseda and Mrs. Esther Were. Step-son of the late Mama Rosebella Were. 

Grandson of late Mzee Zedekia and Mama Loise Miseda - all of Got-Nyapon’g Village. Also grandson of late Mzee Richard and the late Nereah Okello both of Asembo, Lwak. 

Son-in-law of Mr. John Osino and Mrs. Emma Osino of Magoya, Konjra Primary School, Uholo West. 

Loving brother of Susan, the late Judith, Dennis Were, Prof Edwin Were, the late Joyce, Godfrey Were, the late Mary, Millicent, the late Omondi, the late Benter, Dr. Eric Were, Nelson Matoke, Advocate Jeremiah Were, Eunice Were, Richard Were, Calvins Miseda and Dr. Keneth Were.

Cortege leaves Chiromo Campus Mortuary on Friday, 10th April 2020, for the funeral and burial service on Saturday 11th April 2020 in Sakwa Bondo, Bar-Chando Sub-location. 

There shall be strict observance of the government’s Covid–19 control measures and guidelines.

Charles, you fought a good fight; you kept the faith, and
