It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of June Mmboga
Ilagoswa on 4th June 2020. She was the beloved daughter of David and Florence Ilagoswa. Loving
sister to Alexander and Mulaha Ilagoswa. Sister-in-law to Angelique Libese and Naomi
Mulaha-Ilagoswa. Doting Auntie to Jabali, Jan, Kamila-Marie Libese-Ilagoswa, Francesca and Pablo
Mulaha-Ilagoswa.
Until her demise, June was the Global Mobility Specialist for General Electric (GE) in Sub-Sahara
Africa, having joined the company in February 2013. She will be remembered for her quiet
demeanor, warm spirit, great sense of humor and always going above and beyond to deliver on her
assignment and support others. She brought a lot of wisdom to the HR team and played an active
role in team building and social interaction within the o ce.
Viewing of the body will take place at the Lee Funeral Home on Friday 12th June from 8:30a.m. to
10:30a.m. The cortege will then leave Lee Funeral Home at 11 a.m. for the funeral service at Nairobi
Baptist Church 12 p.m. and burial thereafter at Lang’ata Cemetery.
Strict adherence to all Ministry of Health and Government of Kenya directives relating to COVID-19
will be observed.
