It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our mum Rosemary Naivasha Chumba on 24th July 2020 at Aga Khan Hospital.
Daughter of the late Erastus Naivasha and the late Charity Kathure Naivasha of Chogoria. Rose was the wife to the Late WOII Thomas Kiptoo Chumba. Daughter in law of the Late Augustine Chumba and Mary Toyoi of Kaptarakwa Ward; Chebior Sub- Location.
The couple was blessed with 4 Children Maureen Naivasha, Bobby Kimutai, Caroline Kiptoo & Lindah Chebet- Macharia. She was a mother in love to Kenneth Mwandiki Naivasha, Wambui Kimutai and Moses Macharia. Doting grandmother to Lewis Mawira, Lesley Mutai, Kyle Baraka Kiptoo, Yeshurun Zamar ‘Mukeni Macharia’ & Naiposha Pendo Kimutai.
Sister to Lydiah Mukwaiti Aaron, the late Jane Miriti, The late Peter Riungu Naivasha, Mary Njagi and Titus Kariuki Naivasha. Sister-in-law to Joyce Ntue Peter, Catherine Kariuki, the late Joseph Chumba & Sarah Toroitich; Peter Chumba & Selina Kiprop, Pius Chumba & the late Jane Kiplimo, the late Paulina, Sarah Koech & Charles Koech, Francis Chumba assistant chief Chebior Sub-Location & Vivian Chumba; Michael Chumba & Ruth Lel & Agnes Chebet.
The cortege leaves Monalisa Montezuma Funeral Home on 31st July 2020 at 07:00 am for Kaptagat and thereafter for burial in Kaptarakwa Ward - Kitany Location on Saturday, 1st August 2020
