It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the sudden demise of Engr. Zuriel Mbai Nyambok (aka Surriel), which occurred on Tuesday, 13th October 2020 at his Kanyada home in Bonde, Homa Bay County. He was the beloved husband of Valery Ochieng Mbai. He is preceded in death by his parents Mzee Narkiso Nyambok and Mama Fridah Nyambok.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, the late Helen Florence Nyambok, and his parents-in-law, Mzee Jason Ogola and Mrs. Merab Odera. He is survived by his children Judith Nyambok, Dorothéa McNeill, David Nyambok, and James Nyambok; daughters-in-law Beatrice W. Mbai and Anitah W. Nyambok; grandchildren Jerome Mbai, Joshua Nyambok-McNeill, Javan and Jordan Mbai, and Hope Bethia Nyambok.
Further details of a Memorial Service in Nairobi and a Graveside Service in Bonde, Homa Bay will be announced as soon as the family finalizes the arrangements. Due to the current restrictions on gatherings, please feel free to reach out to the family via calls or text messages.
