Mrs Teresia Musau
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mrs Teresia Musau of Kangii Sub-Location, Kyawango Location, Mwala Sub County in Machakos County. She had lived for about 106 years.
Wife of the late Musau Kivuvo (Muindi). Daughter of the late Mr. Musavi Kithoi and the late Mrs. Mary Kanini Musavi. Mother of Christine Nduku Musau, Patrick Kisilu Musau (Retired Assistant Chief), the late Mwongeli Musau, Sebastian Musau (Retired Chief Inspector of the Kenya Police), the late Rose Syowai Musau (formerly of Air Kenya), Dr. Benjamin Munywoki Musau (B M Musau & Co., Advocates LLP and a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi School of Law), Stephen Musau and the late Mwikali Musau. Stepmother of Mrs. Berita Maele, the late Aaron Musau, Joseph Musau, Mulekyo Mulandi and Wayua Kitheka.
Mother-in-law of Grace Kisilu, the late Ann Gacheri Sebastian, Pamela Sebastian, Agnes Sebastian and Rebecca Mueni Munywoki (Teachers Service Commission Headquarters).
She was the sister -in – law to the late Ngyema Kivuvo, the late Joseph Kisila, Ndambuki Kivuvo, Ndambuki Kiilu (Masii), Mukungu Mutiso (Makueni), among others.
She was the loving aunt to many including John Philip Luusa, Irene Luusa, Obadiah Musyoki, Justus Mutuku, Peter Kimuli, Charles Nzioka, the late Benjamin Kisila, Col. (Rtd) David Kisila, Joshua Ngyema, Jones Ngyema, the late Julius Mutua Kisila, Lt. Col. (Rtd) Jonathan Kisila, Japheth Ndambuki, Joseph Ndambuki, Julius Ndambuki, Daniel Ndambuki, Titus Ndambuki, Daniel Nzuki Kimonyi, the late Beatrice Mutio Kithyaka, Agnes Kisila, Jane Kyula, the late Kingw’aa Mutinda, the late Kaluki Mumo, among others.
She was the grandmother of the late John Muindi, the late John Mutiso, Alexander Musyoki, Ann Mueni, Joseph Kisilu, Richard Kisilu, Teresia Kisilu, Emmaculate Ndunge, Moses Sebastian, Joyce Sebastian, Muindi Sebastian, Sheila Sebastian, Harriete Mutono Sebastian, the late Nicholas Sila, Dennis Musau, Winny Mwende (Advocate of the High Court of Kenya), Jared Musau Munywoki, Mercy Muhenge Kanyangi (Ministry of Interior and Coordination of the National Government), Teresia Munywoki (B M Musau & Co., Advocates LLP) and Alice Munywoki, among others.
She had many great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives will be meeting daily at her home in Mwala, Machakos County.
There be will be a Consolation Mass on 28th October 2020 at 3 pm at her home.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home (Nairobi) at 6.45 am on Friday, 30th October 2020 for her funeral Mass at her home in Kangii Sub-Location, Kyawango Location in Mwala Sub County, Machakos County on the same day at 10.30 am.
“Dear brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
May the Almighty God take up Mum’s soul up to Heaven.
