We are saddened to announce the death of Mr. Elijah Kimani Ndegwa, former District Officer & current Director Excellent Security Services in Kirinyaga County which occurred on 19th December, 2020 after a short illness.
Son of the late Canon Manasseh Ndegwa Kimani & the late Janeffer Njeri Ndegwa of Riakiania Village, Kanyokora Sub Location, Mukure Location, Ndia Division. Loving husband of Lydia Wairimu Kimani. Doting father of Jennifer Njeri Anjere, Gladys Wangari, Manasseh Ndegwa. Loving grandfather of Jasmine Wairimu, Jerome Litunya, Pendo Kimani & Martin Kimani. Father-in-law of William Anjere. Brother of Muthinji, Kiongo, Wangari, the late Kariuki, Nyambura, Ms. Leah Ndegwa, Kihara & Muriu.
Brother-in-law of Lucy, Jane, the late Sospeter Onyangore, Martin Shirokho, Jane & Grace, the late Uimbia, Kabura, Githu & Bernard Kibaru. Nephew the late Ephraim, Samuel, Njaungiri & Kiringa, Bishop Kiongo, Daniel, Mutuango, Phillip, Obed among others. Cousin of the late Joe, Eliud, Ruth, Margaret, the late Gitoro, Nganga, Mwatha, Uimbia Muritu, Wairimu, among others.
The funeral will take place at his home in Riakiania Village, Ndia Constituency, Kirinyaga County on Tuesday 29/12/2020 Burial service will be from 10.00am, at Kiamagunyi Grounds.
