It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Florence Oyiela Sakwa after long illness bravely fought.
She was wife to the Late Nelson Mukara Sakwa and dearest mum to Modern Ibrahim, Dr. Lucy Luta, Matilda Sakwa - DG NYS, Oceanic Saisi, Anita (Agnetta) Onyango, James, Gerald, Aggrey Samuel and Sally.
She was daughter of the Late James Malumbe Litunya and Late Agnetta Makokha of Ekambuli village.
Daughter in law to the Late Mr & Mrs Joseph Muchule of Emmusenjeli village.
Mother in law to Dr. Martin Luta, Abraham Saisi, Dr. Anselmy Opiyo, Margaret Malumbe, Rose Sakwa and Lydia Sakwa.
Sister to Emmy and Late Davis Esiaba, Late Morisson and Rosmel Litunya, Franklin and Violet Litunya, Dr. Reardon and Joyce Litunya, Dr. Waston and Peris Litunya, Late Sherry Litunya and Late Miller & Late Evelyn Litunya.
She was sister in law to Late Ruth Olocho, Late Rev Joel Ongai, Late Josephine Abwao.
Grand mother to 20 and great grandmother to Baby Iman.
Aunt and friend to many.
She will be buried on Saturday, 16th January, 2021 at her home in Butsotso near PAG Mukhuyu, Lurambi, Kakamega.
