She was the Director of Human Resource Management and Development at the State Department for Livestock Development in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative Development. She was the wife of Jairus Ojango Omumu of Office of the Deputy President. Mother of Rhoda Otenyo Amboka of Riara Springs Girls’ High School. Beloved daughter of the late Mwalimu Enos Abukutsa and the late Rosebella Abukutsa of Ebusiratsi Ematsuli, Emuhaya Sub-County, Vihiga County. Sister of the late Rebecca Abukutsa, the late James Mukol’la, Prof. Mary Abukutsa (JKUAT), Dr. Lydia Mareri (Egerton University). Cousin of Frank, Phoebe, Angote, Margaret, Nancy, the late Eblon, Agnetta, Philgona, Awinja, Naomi, Cleopas, Okisa, Esther, the late Okango, the late Asande. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Tuesday 13th April 2021, 8.00am for her home Emusoto Village, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County. Burial service will take place on Wednesday 14th April 2021, Emusoto village.
