It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Francis Wamarema Gaitho, CEO of Databit Ltd which occurred on Thursday 15th April 2021 at Mater Misericordiae Hospital after a short illness.
Son of the late Mary Wanja Gaitho of Mahinga village, Muguga, Ngecha location, Limuru. Husband to the late Irene Wambui Wamarema and Caroline Njeri Wamarema. Son in law to the late David Kirubi Kariuki and Esther Wanjiru Kirubi Kariuki and the late Stephen Kinuthia Kihiu and the late Jennifer Wanjiku Kinuthia Father to the late Leo Gaitho Wamarema, the late David Kirubi Wamarema, Michael Gaitho Wamarema, Andrew Kinuthia Wamarema, Jonathan Gathu Wamarema and Tracy-Marie Wanja Wamarema. Father in law to Megan Allan and dotting grandfather to Luca Wamarema Gaitho. Brother to Joseph Karanu Gaitho and Peter Muroki Gaitho. Cousin to the late Patrick Kimani Matu, Lucy Kimani, David Wamarema Matu, Simon Githua Matu, Francisca Matu Karanja, Tom Njuguna Matu, and Wanja Matu. Brother-in-law to Lucy Karanu, Joyce Muroki, Francis and Christine Kihiu, Betty Kinuthia and Hosea Wachira, Anne and Colin Otieno, Charles and Nancy Mwangi and Anna-Marie and Herbert Mwachiro.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday April 21st at 9:00am followed by a funeral service at Consolata Shrine, Westlands from 11.00am. Burial will follow thereafter at their home in Mahinga, Muguga-Ngecha Village, Kiambu County. In line with Government protocols, COVID-19 restrictions will be strictly adhered to. Accordingly, only family and close friends will access the church and family home. Both the funeral service and burial will be on live stream.
