It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Hon. Gideon Mwiti, the immediate former Member of Parliament for Central Imenti, Meru on 25th July 2021.
Son of the late Zakayo and Marion M’Irea. Husband to Faith Ncekei. He was father to Mutethia Mwiti, Carol Karwitha, Kate Karambu, Yvonne Kendi, Natasha Kathambi and Angel Kanana. Father in law to Gatwiri & Kagia. Grandfather to Michael, Nyambura, Igoki & Kimathi.
He was brother to Joyce Ntarangwi, Eva Munene, Festus Kimama, Silas Mutea, Rachel Mwari, Eng. Joshua Kinoti and the late Amos Kinyua. Brother in law to Nahashon Ntarangwi, Dr Munene Mugambi, late Susan Kimama, Dr Zipporah Mutea, late Selina Kinyua, Sarah Mwebia, John Magaju, Alice Mugure, Gideon Miriti, Judith Nkoroi, Susan Kirema, Timothy Muriungi, & Dorothy Mokaya.
Gideon was a much loved uncle to his nephews and nieces.
He will be laid to rest at his farm in Imenti Central, Mwitumura village, on Tuesday 3rd August 2021, beginning at 12 noon.
