It is with a sad heart but with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. John Gitari Muhinja of Ndundu village, Kiganjo Ward, Gatundu South, Kiambu County which occurred on 20th July 2021.
Son of the Late Lucas Muhinja and Margaret Njeri of Ndundu Village. Loving husband of the late Agnes Wangui Gitari. Father of Fidelis Wambui Gatama, the Late Jane Njeri, Martin Muhinja, the Late Margaret Wanja, the Late Albert Ndung’u, Charles Ng’ang’a, the Late Moses Karanja, Josephine Muthoni and Virginia Wanjiku. Brother of the late Wanjiku Thuku, the late Wanja Gitau, Ngendo Muhinja, the late Nyanguru Meshach, Wambui Muhinja, and Nyakaria Muhinja. Son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ng’ang’a Muchege. Father-in-law of John Gatama Kamau and Rose Wanjiru Ng’ang’a. Uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Homeland Lounge, Thika Road and at his residential home in Ndundu Village, for prayers and funeral arrangements starting 5:00pm.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 9:00am on Friday 30th July 2021 for a funeral service at Mary Help of Christians - Ndundu Parish at 12:00 pm thereafter, an internment at his farm in Waiganjo village.
