It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lilies Wanjiru Mwangi on 26/7/2021 at KUTRRH after a short illness.
Daughter to the late Allam Raing’o and Grace Wanjiku. Loving wife to the late Peter Mwangi Ng’arua. Sister to Stephen Gichuki, Solomon Kanyi and Margaret Nyambura. Mother to Allan and Mercy Ng’arua, Dr. Gladys Mwangi, Robin Raing’o and Angella Wanjiku. Doting grandmother to Tania Marie Wanjiru, Peter Mwangi, Lexus Mwangi, Brian Njogu, Talei Maxine Wema, Marylene Wanjiru and Ayanna Wanjiru. Sister in law to Lois and the late Benson Njenga, Grace Nyambura Munge, the late Wilson Muritu, Purity and Rev. Gicheru, Nick and Hannah Ngarua, Mary and the late Juma Mwangi, Ben and Esther Kiruma, Eunice Njeri and Elder Theuri, Esther and Absalom Mwaniki, Joyce Gakenia and Ann Ngarua. Niece, Aunt and cousin to many.
Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30PM from Wednesday 28/7/21 and at her home in Kiganjo Nyeri and Mung’aria Village from 5.00PM for prayers. The cortege leaves KUTRRH Funeral home on Saturday 31/7/21 at 7.00AM for funeral service and burial at Mungaria village past Kangubiri Girls High School, Aguthi location, Nyeri County.
