It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Peter Erastus Muthigani Gathuthi.
Son of the late Anthony Gathuthi Githegi & the late Mary Kirigo. Loving husband to Annah Mumbi Muthigani. Brother to late Muchiri wa Wamanya, Muchiri wa Wakini, late Rebecca Waitiati, late Jerioth Wambui Gathuthi, James Wachiuri, Shelmith Gathoni and Veronica Wairimu
Father to Dr. Mary Kiaira, late Anthony Gathuthi, Edmund Mithamo, Augusta Mwihaki, Josephine Wambui, the late Anthony Muchiri, Paul Githae, Pauline Wangui and Perpetual Wairimu. Father in-law to Prof. Job Kiaira, Eunice Njoki and Margaret Wairimu. Grandfather to Muriithi, Muthigani, Murugi, Wambui and Patricia and a great grandfather to many.
The cortege will leave Jamii Funeral and Nursing Home, Karatina on Wednesday 28.07.2021 at 7.00am for a Requiem Mass at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church Gitunduti, Mathira East, Nyeri County starting at 10.00am
The burial will be at his Gitunduti farm on the same day.
There will be live streaming of the service on Youtube from 10.30A.M.
Due to Covid -19 pandemic, there will be adherence to MOH Guidelines.
