It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Jane Wagithi Kigathi (Mama Wachiuri or Mama Nyawira) of Sunrise Street, Gate B, JKUAT, Ithuri in Juja.
She was the loving wife of Andrew Kigathi Wachiuri. Mother to George Wachiuri (USA), Michael Ruirie, Dr. Rose Nyachomba and Pricilla Nyawira. Mother-in-Law to Mary Wangari and Eric Nzomo. Grandmother to Andrew, Ryan, Imani, Wayne, Adrian and Jabari.
Daughter to the late Alexander Ruirie and the late Priscilla Nyawira of Kihate, Muhito Location, Mukurweini Constituency in Nyeri County. Daughter-in-Law to the late Wachiuri and late Rose Wambui Wachiuri.
Sister to Winfred Wangui, Erastus Kigai, Moses Ndegwa, Richard Macharia, Andrew Muriithi, Irene Gichungo and Onesmus Kamiri.
Sister-in-Law to the late Wang’ombe, late Wangechi, late Nyamathira and late John Nderitu.
In-law to the late Bethwel Muya and Mrs. Grace Muya of Lari and Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Nzomo of Matuu.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Juja at 5.00 pm and at the PCEA St. Andrew Church in Nairobi on 19th July 2021 at 5.00 pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, 20th July, 2021 at 4.00 pm at St. Augustine Parish on Gachororo road in Juja.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru County on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021 at 8.00 am followed by a Holy Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church at Wanyororo in Lanet at 9.30 am and thereafter burial at her home in Tabuga village, opposite PCEA Taboga church in Lanet, Nakuru County.
