It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the demise of Mzee Joel Mburu Thuku on the 14th July 2021.
He was a son of the late Kamau Thuku and Ekira Gathoni, loving husband to Rosemary Gathoni Thuku, adoring father to the late Jane Nyambura Thuku Njoroge, Harry Thuku, Elizabeth Wanjiku and James Maina. Father in law to Boniface, Bilha and Dr Nyawira. Doting grandfather to Elsie, Roselynne, Anthony, Erico, Shyrose, Derrick and Dwayne. Elder brother to Joseph Kuira, Elizabeth Wangare, Late Simon Kambo, Late Agnes Wanjiku, Late Fredrick Nganga, Joseph Mbui, William Mwangi and Phillip Gatang’a.
The Requiem Mass will be held on the Monday 19th July 2021 at the St. Vincent Palloti Catholic Church, Ngong Road (Dagoretti Corner) Nairobi at 11am.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Tuesday 20th July 2021 at 8am followed by the funeral at his farm in Kaharati in Murang’a County.
