The Board of Directors, Management and the staff of The Achelis Group of Companies regrets to announce the passing away of Mr. Lothar Denter on 27th July 2021 in Germany.
He was an astute businessman, investor, entrepreneur, and shareholder of the Joh Achelis & Söhne GmbH, headquartered in Bremen, Germany with operations in Greater East Africa and South-East Asia.
Lothar Denter was a dedicated, committed and long serving Managing Director of Achelis Kenya Limited for a period of 31 years. He returned to Germany to serve as Managing Partner of the Group and at the time of his passing had retired and was serving as The Chairman to the Achelis Group, Advisory Board.
He leaves behind his wife Mrs. Astrid Denter and two sons to whom we share our deepest condolences and wish them comfort during this difficult time.
Lothar Denter was a caring friend and mentor to many. He will be sorely missed by The Achelis fraternity.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
