It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Justus Njeru Murugu (JB) on 30th June 2021.
Loving husband of Elisheba Kajuju Njeru and son of the Late Murugu and the Late Ciakubai. Beloved father of the Late Catherine Kainyu and Kaaria Mutura, Lillyan Kawira and Louis Njuki, the Late Kennedy Marangu and Frida Kawira, Joyce Kaimuri, Winnie Kanana, Lynette Kathambi and Fred Njogu. He was brother of the Late M’rithaa, the Late Kajugu, the Late Karimi and Phyllis Gatune. Brother-in-law of the Late Beatrice, Wilfred and Phyllis Mwangi, Loyford and Lillian Kiambi, Christine Muiti and the Late Ngugi. Doting grandfather of Sarah Kathure and Tito Waititu, Michael Mugambi, Prince Muthomi, Wanja, Makena, Kavina Kawira, Adrian Mutuma and Nicole Nkirote. Caring uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to many.
A memorial service will be held at Ridgeways Baptist Church, Nairobi on Friday 9th July 2021 from 3pm. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Saturday 10th July 2021 at 6:00am for a funeral service at Kairuni KK PCEA Church Chogoria at 10:00am. He will be laid to rest at his home in Kairuni thereafter.
