It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Edith Micere Chomba, which occurred on Sunday, 27th June 2021 after a short illness.
Beloved daughter of the late Eliud Kangangi and Rosebell Kangangi of Nyangati, Mwea, Kirinyaga County. Wife of the late Wilfred Chomba.
Loving mother of Purity Wambui, Timothy Ndambiri, Eliud Waweru and Rosebell Wanjiku Gitungo (USA). Grandmother of the late Tiffany, Watson, Bruce, Wilberforce, Ruby, Ng’endo and Jayda. Great-grandmother of Murage and Dylan.
Sister of the late Kang’eri, Charles, the late Jane, Dorothy, the late Richard, the late Faith and Ngure. Mother-in-law of Newton Njagi Nbk Maua, Frida Ndambiri business Embu, Judy Waweru Mwea, Patrick Gitungo USA. A loving aunt to many.
Friends and family are meeting daily at ACK. St. Thomas Cathedral Kerugoya and her home, in Kirogo, Kaguyu Location, Kirinyaga Central at 4.00pm for prayers and burial preparations.
The cortège leaves ACK. Mt. Kenya Hospital Mortuary- Kerugoya, on Saturday 3rd July, 2021, at 8.00am. The funeral service shall take place at ACK - Kirogo Church (Thaita Parish), followed by burial at her home in Kirogo, Kaguyu Location, Kirinyaga Central, Kirinyaga County.
