It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Assa Maroko Mayani which occurred on 2nd December 2017 at a Nairobi Hospital. Son of the late Mayani Ochando and the late Mama Nyaboe. Father of Teresa, John, Col. Jeremiah Maroko (DOD), Milka, George, Dickson and the late Obiria. Brother of Nyagoe, Barongo, Monyangi, Nyaboke, Nyarinda, Migosi, Osebe, the late Bosibori, the late Kemunto, the late Mongina, the late Obegi, the late Nyaboe and the late Ondieki. He has left behind 27 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
In support of the family, a major fundraiser will be held on 13th December 2017 at the All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Olive Gardens Hotel along Argwings Kodhek Road from 5.45pm for burial arrangements.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home - Nairobi on Thursday 14th December, 2017 at 7.00am for burial at Bogwendo village, Manga Sub-County, Nyamira County on Friday 15th December, 2017.
