We the family of Mrs. Rose Achieng Otit - Oduor would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all those who stood with us following the sad and untimely demise of our beloved matriarch on 17th June, 2021. She was laid to rest on 28th June, 2021.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Anglican Church of Kenya, relatives and friends for the outpouring love, kindness and support during this trying moment. May God richly bless all of you.
Mama Rose was daughter to the late Mzee Paul Otit Ong’wano and Mama Joyce Oyengo. Daughter-in-law to Mzee Lucas Okumu Ong’ong’o and Mama Wilfridah Ataro Ong’ongo’.
Loving wife of the late Peter Oduor Ong’ong’o. Father to Eveleen Oduor Ogutu, Lucy Oduor-Anyanga, Catherine Bolaji Saheed, Susan Oduor-Kitsao, Juliet Oduor-Alwala, Claire Oduor-Ngichabe, Claris, Dan Oduor, Favour, Joseph, Lilian, amongst many others.
Mother to Phiona Akinyi Okindo, Francis Omondi Oduor, Joyce Adhiambo Oduor, Allan Omondi Oduor, Michael Ochieng Oduor and Stacey Anyango Oduor.
Sister to the late Charles Omondi Otit, Helidah Agutu Otit, the late Alice Otit, Anne Otit, the late Eric Otieno Otit and Emma Atieno Oduor.
Sister-in-law to Rosemary Ong’ongo and Albert Ong’ongo, among others. Mother-in-law to Samuel Okindo, Tracey Nambisia and Harrison Ewang’. Grandmother to Shamira Oduor, Maya Achieng’ Omondi, Peter Ewang’ Ewang’ and Mihlali Precious Ochieng’. Auntie and cousin to many.
