It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Engineer Daniel Muchiri on 19th July 2021 after a short illness bravely borne.
Husband of Dianah Njoki and father to Joseph Muchiri, Martha Wambui and Susan Muringe. Doting grandfather to Dylan Gathege, Daniela Wangari and Naila Njoki. Son of the late Jackson Muchiri (Wakanyoni) and Martha Wambui Muchiri. Brother to Mary Njeri, David Gichuhi, Jane Mathenge, Lilian Babu, Simon Mureithi, Nancy Wanjiku, among others. Uncle to Wangeci Nderitu, Martin Gichure, among others. He was a dear friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 6.00pm at Hippo Point Hotel in Nyahururu and at his home in Kiahiti, Pesi for burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Hospital Funeral Home (Nyahururu) on Friday 23rd July 2021 at 8.00 am. The funeral service will be held at his Kiahiti Farm, Pesi in Laikipia County on Friday 23rd July 2021 starting at 10:00 am.
