It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Brigid Njoki Kavulya of Manza Village, Katine Location, Matungulu, Machakos County.

Wife of the late Gabriel Kavulya Mulwa. Daughter to the late Karanu Gacheru and the late Monica Muthoni.  Sister to the late Salome Wanjiru and joseph Kimere (Juja Farm), and Joseph Kamunyu Rose Njeri (Muruka, Kandara). Mother to late Patrick Karanu, Fr. Francis Kavulya (Machakos Diocese), Rosemary Kaluki(USA), Justina Katunge & Kwera Chege (Nairobi) , Raphael Muthama (Survey-Kenya) and Hannah Muthama (Min-Health), Petronillah Nthamo & Smollets Munyianzi (Tala), Joseph Muema (Chuka University &  Bernadetta Kyengo (Syokimau), Margaret Munini & Ann Mueni (Tala). Grandmother to: Geoffrey & Soila Kavulya (USA), Kennedy K Kavulya & Wangui, Bernice Mukii & Robert Kithinji, Sylvia Nzisa (Cooperative Bank), Jacqueline Njoki, Irene Muthoni, Valentine,  Mercy Wambui, Benson Chege, Gabriel Kavulya, Arune Njoki, Rachel Njoki, Nicole Wayua, Victor Kavulya & Theodore Kavulya.  Great grandmother to: Nancy, Goodluck, Michelle, Rosie, Njoki, Geoffrey, Zuriel, and Annrose.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (KURRH) for a requiem mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tala Market on Wednesday 18/8/2021 and thereafter will take place at her home in Manza Village, Katine location, near Tala Market
