It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lorna Penina Akeyo Atito.
Daughter of the late Mzee Washington Zakayo Orata and the late mama Dina Maira Orata of Rapedhi Village, Kanyadoto Central Location, Ndhiwa Sub-County, Homabay County. Step-daughter to the late Hana Abudho Orata, Susana Orata, Perez Orata and the late Elizabeth Akinyi Orata.
Mother to Diana, the late Mildred, Tom, Stephen, Dickens, Josephine, Broadrick, Auther and Mercy. Grandmother to Griffin’s, Albert, Marion, Felicity, Tracy, Neville, Mildred, Ian, Dellan, Jayden, Joy and Sasha.
Sister to the late George Albert Okeyo, Alice Akoth, the late Fredrick Richard Oketch, Maureen Ayugi, Gideon Mathews Otieno, Joyce Achieng’, the late Akumu Orata, Michael Odoyo,Tom Ogaya and Haggai Onyango. Her step brothers and sisters include the late Dick, John, Hamilton (Deputy Governor, Homa-bay County), Mary, Mildren, Joseph, the late Dinah, Ross, Hezron, William (Boss) and Daisy. Niece to the late Salome, the late Ruth, the late Joshua Odiembo, the late Sarah, the late Robinson,Teresa, Josiah Orieny, the late Bertha and the late Jeremiah Amongst others.
Cousin to Brodrick, Zephaniah, the late Robert, Abbott, Tom, Godfrey, Kennedy, Beldine, Milka, Diriah amongst others. She was the sister-in law to Otieno Atito and George Onyango Atito.
Church service was held at Nairobi Central SDA Church on 14th July 2021. Burial will take place on Friday 16th July 2021 at Wiamen,Village, Kotieno sub-Location, West Kanyada Location.
